SPRAY BUFFING PROCEDURES
Spray buffing is a procedure used to restore
the gloss to the 20% of the floor that gets 80% of the traffic. The traffic
lanes. Before spray buffing it is necessary to dry clean and wet clean the floor to
insure that soil is not buffed into the floor finish.

- Rotary Floor Machine
- Spray Buffing Pad

Procedures: |

Spray Buffing Instructions
- Dust mop the floor using the dry cleaning procedures.
- Position wet floor signs.
- Always wear protective goggles and gloves when handling
cleaning chemicals.
- Wet clean the floor by damp mopping, wet
mopping or automatic scrubbing
- Attach a red buffing pad to the rotary floor machine.
- Using a spray bottle, apply a fine mist of SPRAYBUFF on a
small section of the floor. Buff the sprayed area using overlapping strokes.
Continue buffing until the desired gloss is achieved. Continue until the entire area
has been spray buffed.
- Dust mop the floor to remove any loose debris.
- Remove wet floor signs.
- Clean all equipment and return to storage area.
